Lady Popular has just updated how popularity points are distrubuted!
Here is a quick guide to spending your popularity points.
You will want to raise your popularity as evenly as possible. Try not to put too many points in any one area. Your Lady will be stronger, the more consistent her popularity scores are. Remember to subtract out your temporary pop bonuses and boyfriend bonuses when you are looking at your totals. You can view this by clicking your "PROFILE" button.
Your popularity points can be located in a new tab called "Popularity" under your Lady's energy bar. Click the tab to open your popularity panel

CURRENT POINTS
The top area will show you how many points you currently have collected to spend

POP SCORES
All your popularity categories and how many points you currently have in each category.

Click on the "+" sign on the right of the popularity score you wish to raise.

This is how many points you raised using the $ option.

how many points you increased from club bonuses

how many points you increased from pop bonuses. Keep in mind that these are a temporary increase and will expire after the bonus time wears off.

how many points you increased from dating your current boyfriend. Keep in mind that changing boyfriends will also change your popularity bonus to a new category, so this should be considered a temporary bonus, while you are currently dating this particular boy.

It is usually recommended that you use the points method to raise your scores during early game levels (1-25)

The cost of raising your score will increase for both $Dollars & points as you increase your score, based on which method you use. It is much easier to use cash at higher levels, so $Dollars method is usually saved for higher level Ladies.
HOW TO DISTRIBUTE POP SCORES
To determine your true score, remember to subtract all popularity bonuses & boyfriend bonuses. Use your profile page to view your scores without temp bonuses.
HOW TO SEE YOUR TRUE SCORES
It is helpful to keep your "true" panel up while you work on raising your popularity scores to help see where you should add points to even your scores. You can do this by clicking "profile" and then going into your popularity panel.

remember: Loyalty is only raised by training your current pet. Always buy the next available pet as soon as possible and try to train it as fast as possible.
